Communication

From reading over 100 business books and running a startup for over a year, here's a 2-word summary of communication that might save you years of reading:

Contrast
Potential

It's not enough to say 'matcha is good', it's not a story until you say 'compared to coffee, matcha makes you consistently alert but not jittery'. It's not a story with potential, though, until you say that 'stopping drinking coffee has been the single-most important change in my life in the past 3 years.' Most books try to describe pieces of these ideas in roundabout ways over hundreds of pages, but interesting communication is really all about these 2 principles.
